Night Shift
The Night Shift panel is your watchlist of things the team re-checks on a schedule — put a data pull here and the team runs it again on its own, alerting you only when the result materially changes.
Set it and forget it. Anything you can pull now, you can watch. Night Shift re-runs the same pull on a schedule and stays quiet until something real moves — a ticket’s status, a metric crossing a threshold, an item added or removed.

☾ Runs on a schedule
The team re-checks it for you.
☾ Alerts on change
Pinged only when it materially moves.
☾ Feeds the brief
Fresh signals land in your Morning Brief.
What it is#
Night Shift is the panel for standing watches. Where the Morning Brief is a one-time pull-together, Night Shift is continuous — the team keeps re-running the checks you’ve set and surfaces anything that shifts, so you don’t have to remember to look.
Adding a watch#
To add a watch, give the team the same pull you’d run to fetch the thing now — "watch the P0 ticket count", "keep an eye on the staging error rate". It goes on the watchlist and re-checks on a schedule from then on.
What counts as a change#
Night Shift alerts you only on a material change — a ticket’s status moving, a metric crossing a threshold, an item added or removed. Noise that doesn’t matter stays silent, so a ping from Night Shift is worth reading.
Night Shift & the Brief#
The two panels work as a pair. Night Shift gathers signals overnight and across the day; the Morning Brief ranks the fresh ones into "what needs me today". Together they turn continuous watching into a short, actionable morning read.
