The Commissions panel tracks documents the team is drafting and iterating to convergence — a heavyweight, opt-in job where Sage writes, every relevant specialist reviews it round after round, and the draft is revised until their blockers are gone.
Optimized, not first-draft. A commission is deliberately slow and expensive — multiple agents, several review rounds. You ask for it explicitly when a document is worth that investment; this panel is where you watch those jobs progress.

What it is#
Commissions is the panel for background document jobs. Most writing Sage does on the spot; a commission is different — it’s a document important enough to iterate hard, with the whole specialist team reviewing it. This panel lists those jobs and shows where each one is in the process.
How a commission works#
Sage drafts the document, then every relevant specialist reviews it — flagging blockers and concerns. Sage revises to kill those, and the cycle repeats round after round until the draft converges. The result is genuinely optimized writing, not a first pass.
Slow, expensive, opt-in#
Because a commission runs multiple agents across several rounds, it’s slow and expensive — with a cost ceiling so it can’t run away. For that reason it’s strictly opt-in: the team only commissions a document when you explicitly ask. For everyday writing, a normal draft is faster and free.
When it finishes#
Once the draft converges, the finished document is saved to the Documents library, like any other. The commission drops off the in-progress list, and you open the result from the same shelf as everything else.
