Documents

The Documents panel is your document library — every document the team has written or you’ve saved, in one place to open, read and export. It’s where finished writing lives, separate from the running memory of notes and facts.

Where documents come to rest. A draft Sage writes, a commissioned document the team iterated to convergence, or something you saved yourself — all of it lands in the library, ready to reopen.

What it is#

Documents is the library of finished writing. Where the Memory panel holds atomic facts and notes, the Documents panel holds whole documents — briefs, plans, write-ups, reports — each openable in full. It’s the shelf you go to when you want the document, not the fact.

Opening a document#

Click any document to open it in place — read it, keep editing, or export it. You can also deep-link straight to a specific document from a conversation, so a reference Sage makes is one click from the full text.

Where documents come from#

Two paths fill the library. Sage can write a document on the spot and save it here. Or you can commission one — a slower, opt-in job where every relevant specialist reviews and revises it to convergence before it lands. Either way it ends up in the same library.

Documents vs Commissions#

The Documents panel is the finished shelf — everything that’s done. The Commissions panel is the workshop — documents still being drafted and reviewed round after round. A commission moves into the Documents library once it’s complete.
